LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald said he plans to play Monday night against the Buffalo Bills after missing Week 4 with back soreness.
Donald was listed as limited in practice Thursday but practiced in full Friday.
"I feel good," Donald said Friday after practice. "I feel a lot better than what I was."
On Thursday before practice, Rams coach Sean McVay said "the hope" is Donald would be able to play against Buffalo. McVay said the team would see how Donald responds to practicing, but "everything has been progressing in the right direction."
Donald said he hasn't had any setbacks during practice, before knocking on the podium.
Donald came out of retirement at the end of August after two seasons and did not play in the Rams' season opener. In two games this season, he had four tackles, a tackle for a loss and a quarterback hit. He has played 64 defensive snaps.
According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Donald has generated two pressures on 42 pass rushes this season, recording a 4.8% pressure rate that is his lowest through Week 4 since at least 2018 and the first time it has been below 10%.
In his 92 previous regular-season games from 2018 to 2023, Donald recorded one or fewer pressures in a game just three times. He has recorded one pressure in each of the two games he has played this season.
When asked whether he feels like he's in "football shape," Donald said he feels "good."
"I don't feel like my wind's off," Donald said. "I don't feel like I be out there exhausted. I think the way we able to rotate helped me a lot, but I do feel good. Just got to keep going, try to be more productive, do what I need to do."
