TEMPE, Ariz. -- D.J. Humphries won't be playing Sunday in Los Angeles and won't be practicing this week, either.
The Arizona Cardinals' second-year offensive tackle had his season cut short by a concussion he suffered in Miami on Dec. 11. Arians announced Tuesday that Humphries will be out against the Rams. And on Wednesday, Arians said Humphries would be missing practice, too.
"We don't have an 'out' category, yet," Arians said. "We're not going to take a risk in this game even if he does pass the protocol, which he has not yet."
The only other Cardinal to miss practice due to a non-scheduled day off was defensive tackle Ed Stinson, who's sick. Arians expects him to practice Thursday.
Otherwise, quarterback Carson Palmer, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and defensive tackle Frostee Rucker all had veteran days off. Wide receiver John Brown didn't practice either, which is his routine on Wednesdays, as he rests his body.
Cornerback Marcus Cooper (back/calf) was limited. Cornerback Justin Bethel (foot) practiced in full.
