A Cincinnati-area native, Burden has played previously for the Chiefs and Dolphins. He originally entered the NFL in 2012 after playing in college at Kentucky.
Burden first signed as an undrafted free agent with the Titans in May 2012. He ended up spending the full 2012 season with Miami before getting waivedlast preseason. By the latter half of the regular season, Kansas City signed him to its practice squad. The Chiefs waived him last Wednesday.
Burden's addition gives the Bengals another offensive lineman to try out as they work through organized training activities (OTAs) and enter training camp. He has played both guard and tackle.
