The Cleveland Browns signed seven undrafted free agents and one first-year player after the weekend minicamp tryouts.
To make room for the new players, the Browns waived four players: WR Phil Bates, K Garrett Hartley, DB Varmah Sonie and DL Christian Tupou.

S Landon Feichter: Voted Purdue’s Defensive MVP in 2014. ... Honorable mention All-Big Ten. ... His 105 tackles led team, as did his five interceptions. ... Sounds like a young Jim Leonhard.
TE Kevin Haplea: Played two years at Penn State before transferring to Florida State in 2012. ... Played largely in two-tight-end sets and on special teams last season. ... Missed 2013 with a knee injury.
WR/KR Darius Jennings: Set Virginia record with 1,839 career kick return yards. ... Led ACC by averaging 27.1 yards on kickoff returns last season. ... Also fifth in school history with 133 receptions. ... Ran a 4.47 40 at his pro day.
RB Luke Lundy: Ran for 1,576 yards and had 17 TDs for Ottawa (Kansas), an NAIA school. ... Averaged 131.8 rushing yards per game and 5.5 yards per rush.
LB Rodman Noel: Brother of Nerlens Noel, the No. 6 pick in the 2013 NBA draft. ... Had 142 tackles, four passes broken up and one interception in his career at NC State. ... Stands 6-4 and says his ability to cover separates him from other players.
CB Brandon Stephens: Miami of Ohio and Strongsville guy and former Cleveland Gladiator. ... Finished at Miami with 101 tackles and three interceptions (2006-2010). ... Not a rookie but a first-year player.
