BEREA, Ohio — Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown will practice Wednesday with a sore ankle, coach Mike Pettine said.
McCown was the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for 457 yards and two TDs in the win over Baltimore. But late in the game, he had his ankle rolled up after throwing a pass.
“He’s sore,” Pettine said. “And we’ll be mindful of that. The game is not until Sunday. He’s logged enough reps. We might scale his reps back today. But he’ll be out there.”
Cornerback Joe Haden will not practice. He was diagnosed with a concussion during the Ravens game.
Also out will be linebackers Scott Solomon (knee) and Craig Robertson (ankle) and free safety Tashaun Gipson (ankle).
