IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys have seven picks in the upcoming NFL draft with selections in Rounds 1-5 and two picks in the seventh round.
Let's take a look at the -ast five years at each draft position in which the Cowboys will be selecting to offer up some perspective on the type of player they will be getting.

2014 -- Kaleb Ramsey, DE, Boston College (San Francisco 49ers): He suffered a torn Achilles in offseason workouts after the draft and spent the year on the physically unable to perform list after the Niners chose not to activate him to the 53-man roster.
2013 -- Kemal Ishmael, DB, Central Florida (Atlanta Falcons): After playing in just four games as a rookie in a special teams' role, he became a starter in 2014 and had 96 tackles to go along with four interceptions. He had an interception in three straight games in November.
2012 -- B.J. Coleman, QB, Tennessee-Chattanooga (Green Bay Packers): Long known as a team that drafts a lot of quarterbacks, the Packers kept Coleman around through Sept. 2, 2013. He is now with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League.
2011 -- Nate Bussey, LB, Illinois (New Orleans Saints): He spent his rookie season on the Saints' practice squad before joining the Jacksonville Jaguars after he was waived in 2012. He moved on to the UFL for a short stint and last played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL.
2010 -- Jeff Owens, DT, Georgia (Philadelphia Eagles): He spent most of his rookie season on the practice squad before a late-season call-up but suffered a torn left patellar tendon against the Minnesota Vikings and was cut the next year.
