FRISCO, Texas -- Taco Charlton will take home a signing bonus of $5.433 million in the four-year deal he signed last week as the Dallas Cowboys' first-round pick.
Charlton’s deal totals $10.028 million, with $8.654 million of it guaranteed.
After earning the league minimum ($465,000) in 2017, Charlton’s base salaries will jump to $920,847, $1.376 million and $1.832 million from 2018 through 2020. Of Charlton’s 2020 base salary, $458,000 is guaranteed fully.
The Cowboys will also have the right to exercise a fifth-year option on Charlton’s deal after the 2019 season.
Second-round pick Chidobe Awuzie received a signing bonus of $1.255 million in his four-year deal worth $4.283 million. He is guaranteed $1.74 million and has base salaries of $465,000 (2017), $659,708 (2018), $854,416 (2019) and $1.049 million (2020). In 2018, $484,000 of Awuzie’s base salary is guaranteed.
Third-rounder Jourdan Lewis is the Cowboys' only remaining unsigned draft pick.
The Cowboys’ picks in rounds 4-7 will receive minimum base salaries of $465,000, $555,000, $645,000 and $735,000 from 2017 through 2020.
Fourth-round pick Ryan Switzer received a signing bonus of $568,984, while sixth-rounders Xavier Woods and Marquez White received bonuses of $159,620 and $110,024, respectively. Seventh-round picks Joey Ivie, Noah Brown and Jordan Carrell received bonuses of $86,504, $71,952 and $67,500, respectively.
Tight end Blake Jarwin received the largest signing bonus among the Cowboys’ undrafted players at $15,000.
