After reaching the maximum 90-man offseason roster limit, the Detroit Lions assigned jersey numbers on Monday to their seven most recent signees.
The headliner of the group is veteran wide receiver Lance Moore, who will wear No. 16 in Detroit, the same number he had in previous stints with the New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Versatile defensive lineman Corey Wootton has been assigned jersey No. 99. Wootton wore No. 98 when he played for NFC rival Chicago Bears from 2010-13, but switched to No. 99 last year when he joined the Minnesota Vikings.
Here is a full list of the updated Lions’ jersey numbers:
WR Lance Moore, No. 16
DL Corey Wootton, No. 99
WR Greg Salas, No. 18
WR Andrew Peacock, No. 11
CB Desmond Martin, No. 40
CB Chris Owens, No. 44
