INDIANPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts are bringing in a familiar face for a workout. They plan to meet with running back Ahmad Bradshaw, according to a source.
Bradshaw’s 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Colts were cut short because of injuries. He suffered a neck injury in Week 3 in 2013 and a broken leg in Week 11 last season. Bradshaw totaled 611 yards rushing, 342 yards receiving and a total of 10 touchdowns in his two seasons with the Colts.
Bradshaw was suspended a game during the offseason for violating the NFL's policy and program on substances of abuse.
The Colts have uncertainty at running back behind Frank Gore. Rookie Josh Robinson has struggled holding onto the ball. Gore, too, has lost two fumbles inside the 5-yard line this season. He’s also dealing with a left hand injury.
