JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars' projected starting defensive line is even more banged up than it was last week.
Defensive tackle Roy Miller and defensive end Jared Odrick sat out Monday's practice with sore left knees, which meant the entire projected starting lineup was sidelined because defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks remains on the physically unable to perform list as he rehabs a torn ACL and defensive end Chris Clemons remains on the active/non-football injury list.
Odrick is listed as day to day and could return to practice on Tuesday, the team said. Miller's knee will continue to be evaluated, the team said. Miller had offseason surgery to repair torn cartilage in his left knee in January. It's too early in the week to tell if they will miss Friday's preseason opener against Pittsburgh. Both players participated in last Saturday night's scrimmage.
The Jaguars made one roster move on Monday to help with the depth along the defensive line, signing undrafted rookie defensive end Camaron Beard and waiving injured linebacker Matt Robinson. Beard was with Indianapolis before being waived on July 2. He was one of three players given a tryout following Monday's practice.
