ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders announced the signing of eight players to their practice squad, which can be comprised of as many as 10 players.
All eight players were with the Raiders in training camp and they are:
WR K.J. Brent: Rookie led the Raiders with 113 receiving yards on seven catches this preseason.
CB Kenneth Durden: Rookie had three tackles this preseason.
DL Branden Jackson: Rookie had six tackles with a sack this preseason.
G Denver Kirkland: Rookie played 146 snaps this preseason, including a game-high 65 in the preseason finale.
WR Jaydon Mickens: Rookie caught three passes for 43 yards, with a 33-yard reception, this preseason.
TE Ryan O’Malley: Rookie had two catches for 11 yards this preseason.
G Oni Omoile: Rookie, and Kelechi Osemele’s cousin, played 84 snaps this preseason, including a game-high 65 in the preseason finale.
LB Korey Toomer: Third-year player led the Raiders with 19 tackles this preseason.
The Raiders also announced they placed linebackers Neiron Ball (knee) and James Cowser (concussion) on injured reserve after they were waived/injured on Saturday.
