The Oakland Raiders will be without one of their better defensive players Sunday in Kansas City, creating a major issue at linebacker.
Outside linebacker Sio Moore was ruled out of the game Saturday with a hip injury. Moore appeared on the injury list Thursday and did not practice Friday. The second-year player has 90 tackles this season. The Raiders are razor thin at linebacker with just four players healthy -- Khalil Mack, Miles Burris, Ray-Ray Armstrong and Bojay Filimoeatu. Armstrong is a special teamer who has never started a game, and Filimoeatu, promoted Saturday from the practice squad, did not fare well when he played extensively in Week 4 against Miami.
Third safety Larry Asante was placed on the injured reserve Saturday with shoulder and quad injuries. He was playing well. The Raiders promoted cornerback Ras-I Dowling from the practice squad to fill the roster.
