Released: Safety Tyvon Branch (Chiefs), defensive end LaMarr Woodley (Cardinals), linebacker Nick Roach, safety Usama Young.
Retired: Running back Maurice Jones-Drew.
Free-agent additions: Center Rodney Hudson (Chiefs), linebacker Malcolm Smith (Seahawks), tight end Lee Smith (Bills), running back Roy Helu (Redskins), defensive tackle Dan Williams (Cardinals), linebacker Curtis Lofton (Saints), safety Nate Allen (Eagles), cornerback James Dockery (Panthers), quarterback Christian Ponder (Vikings).

Players connected to Raiders: Tight end Jermaine Gresham (Bengals), but he is not expected to sign soon. Defensive end Greg Hardy (Panthers. Owner Mark Davis denied publicly that the team has had discussions with Hardy.
