FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots continue the process of keeping emergency lists fresh, as well as practice-squad considerations, by working out a variety of free agents. The team had the following six players in for tryouts over the last 24 hours:
DB Justin Green -- A first-year player, he was with the Patriots in 2013 -- mostly on the practice squad -- before being traded to the Cowboys in 2014 training camp. The Illinois alum appeared in two regular-season games for the Patriots last season as a reserve.
DB Keon Lyn -- An undrafted free agent out of Syracuse who signed with the Colts after this year's draft, he was released in early June. He played in 38 career games at Syracuse.
DB Kimario McFadden -- The former South Carolina Gamecock signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent in May, and was most recently on the Buccaneers' practice squad before being waived earlier this week.
DB Bacarri Rambo -- A second-year player out of Georgia, he was a sixth-round draft choice of Washington who was waived Sept. 16. He has played in 13 NFL games, but was released when Brandon Meriweather returned from his two-game suspension -- in part because of some bad angles in the passing game and shoddy tackling.
DB Trevin Wade --The third-year player out of Arizona appeared in 13 games for Cleveland in 2012 and two games last season with New Orleans. He was with the Saints in training camp this year and was waived at the end of August.
TE Konrad Reuland -- The 6-foot-5, 260-pound former New York Jet appeared in 26 games (3 starts) over the past two seasons, totaling 12 catches for 90 yards. The Stanford alum was not tendered a contract by the Jets as an exclusive-rights free agent this year.
