Brandon Browner's status remains a mystery after New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton declined to offer any injury updates following Thursday night’s 30-27 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
But Browner offered a coy update of his own via Twitter.
Small thing to a Giant

The Saints’ top free-agent signing was carted from the sideline to the locker room during the first quarter after taking a hit to his right knee/shin area from teammate Hau’oli Kikaha’s helmet in a goal-line scrum. Browner initially tried to walk it off but was eventually carted off after trainers assessed him on the sideline for a few minutes.
Backup cornerback Delvin Breaux offered some good news after the game, telling The New Orleans Advocate’s Nick Underhill his injury was “nothing major.”
No word yet on the injuries suffered by linebackers Dannell Ellerbe and Ramon Humber, defensive lineman Lawrence Virgil and offensive lineman Cyril Lemon.
