Every weekday morning, we'll round up local and national Seattle Seahawks-related links.
With trade activity having picked up around the league this week, Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor offered a message on his Instagram account:
Danny O'Neil of KIRO-AM 710 ESPN Seattle, however, isn't sure if Chancellor will be with the team next season:
I think that he will be traded the week before the draft to a team that will give him a new contract, and Seattle will receive a choice in the back half of the draft as compensation. Again, that's entirely my opinion, and honestly, I hope I'm wrong. I just don't see a way out of the impasse. I don't think Kam Chancellor is going to be happy with his contract as it currently sits, and I don't think -- in light of what happened last year -- the Seahawks would even be willing to make an adjustment along the lines of what they did for Marshawn Lynch in 2014.
The Seahawks released long-snapper Clint Gresham. He responded on Twitter, suggesting they at least replace him with former Army Green Beret Nate Boyer:
Alright if we are gonna do this at least bring back @NateBoyer37 he's the man, great snapper and could probably kill any of us at any moment
