How will Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota fare fantasy-wise in his second NFL season?
ESPN Fantasy Projection: 3,551 yards, 19 TDs
Over or under: I'll go over on the TDs, under on the yards. The Titans want to run the ball a ton, and I don’t have a lot of faith that they will get big chunk plays very often given that they lack deep-threat options. But he threw for 19 touchdowns last season in 12 games. If he stays healthy, and he is better equipped to do so and the Titans are better equipped to help him, he’ll find the end zone more. And that’s not including TD runs. I expect he’ll have several of those as well.
Who else could see time: Matt Cassel is the guy the Titans will turn to if something happens to Mariota. He has been good in practices but was terrible in game action for the Dallas Cowboys last season.
