ASHBURN, Va. -- The Redskins signed seven players to their practice squad -- all of whom were with the team this summer. They also are expected to add another player, according to a source.
Here are the seven that have been signed to the roster (fullback Ray Agnew is expected to be the eighth signee):
Tackle Takoby Cofield: Received the highest bonus Washington gave to an undrafted free agent.
Outside linebacker Houston Bates: Recorded three sacks in the preseason; needs to show he can beat better linemen.
Running back Trey Williams: Love his quick feet; has a lot to learn but has ability.
Defensive end Corey Crawford: At 6-foot-5, 299 pounds, has good length.
Cornerback Quinton Dunbar: Showed flashes after switching from receiver; excellent length and speed.
Inside linebacker Terrance Plummer: A bit of a thumper; thought he'd make the roster as a ninth linebacker.
Tight end Je'Ron Hamm: Spent time on the Redskins' practice squad in 2014 as well.
