The Texans got semi-good injury news on Thursday, the first day of their practice week as they prepare for Monday night against the Patriots at New England.
Outside linebacker Brooks Reed (groin) remains out as expected and cornerback Alan Ball (foot) also didn’t practice.
Everyone else worked at least some with cornerback Johnathan Joseph (hamstring/groin), right tackle Derek Newton (knee) and inside linebacker Bradie James (hamstring) taking between one-third and one-half of the team reps in practice. Per Nick Scurfield of the team’s website, those three and guard Antoine Caldwell (hamstring) all look to be game-time decisions.
They are listed there in order of importance.
If Joseph is out, it’ll have a significant bearing on the Texans’ chances of slowing Tom Brady and New England’s pass offense.
