TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals added depth to their secondary on Tuesday by re-signing veteran safety Chris Clemons to a one-year contract.
He played in seven games last season in two stints with the Cardinals, including both playoff games. He had four defensive tackles and three special-teams tackles.
Clemons, 30, was an unrestricted free agent.
Clemons’ signing leaves Arizona with one unrestricted free agent left at safety -- 30-year-old Rashad Johnson.
