PHILADELPHIA -- Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco followed up an efficient opener with a forgettable performance in Saturday's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Here's all you need to know about his three series: Flacco completed three passes to his own players and two to the Eagles. He finished 3-of-7 for 23 yards.
His first interception was on his first deep shot of the preseason. It was deflected by Nolan Carroll and picked off by Walter Thurmond.
Flacco's second interception was on a pass that sailed over the head of 6-foot-5 receiver Marlon Brown. It was a tough turnover because running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (knee) and right tackle James Hurst (concussion) were injured in trying to make the tackle on the interception return.
Flacco was playing behind a makeshift offensive line that lost three linemen in the first half -- Hurst, left tackle Eugene Monroe (hand) and right tackle De'Ondre Wesley (leg) -- after holding out six linemen for the game.
