ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- One day after being waived by the Buffalo Bills, quarterback Thad Lewis will return as a member of the practice squad, the team announced.
EJ Manuel and Jeff Tuel are on the team's active roster, and it's unclear if Manuel will be healthy enough to play next Sunday against New England.
In addition to Lewis, the Bills added outside linebacker Jamie Blatnick, defensive lineman Izaan Cross, offensive lineman Mark Asper, and wide receiver Tommy Streeter to their practice squad.
Asper was a sixth-round pick by the Bills in 2012, and has since spent time with Minnesota and Jacksonville. Streeter was a sixth-round pick by Baltimore last season.
Blatnick and Cross were both waived by the Bills on Saturday.
