It's always possible that Robert Griffin III could revive his career under Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson's tutelage, but expecting that with certainty is the height of folly.
Robert Griffin III
ESPN Fantasy Projection: 2,902 yards, 15.4 TDs
Over or under: The predictions for Griffin are optimistic and present a best-case scenario. Griffin's production and play have slid every year since his rookie season, to the point he did not play a down in 2015. Jackson believes he can do something with Griffin, and that's to his credit. But these numbers would be expecting a near magical and miraculous transformation. Griffin may have weapons with Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman, but weapons do not make him into the pocket passer he needs to be. Add on his injury history and the risk grows. Few expect him to stay healthy an entire season. Every one of Griffin's numbers — 2,900 yards, 15 touchdowns — is high. Go with the under on each, but if low risk/high reward is your thing and you believe in Jackson's magic, go with Griffin in a late round as a second or third QB. Just in case the miracle happens.
Who else could see time: Josh McCown is a veteran and more than capable backup. If Griffin does get hurt, McCown could put up good passing numbers.
