ARLINGTON, Texas -- Tony Romo won’t be the only Dallas Cowboys starter not to play today against the Arizona Cardinals.
Left guard Ronald Leary is inactive because of a groin strain. He went through a pregame workout but he did not practice during the week. He will be replaced by Mackenzy Bernadeau. Doug Free will miss his third straight game with a foot injury, but he was on the field doing some sprints. He could play next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jermey Parnell will start at right tackle.
The rest of the Cowboys’ inactives: Jakar Hamilton, Jack Crawford, Tim Dobbins and Davon Coleman.
Anthony Hitchens will start in place of Justin Durant at weakside linebacker. Durant is out for the season with a torn biceps. He had surgery last Thursday.
