GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Terrell McClain is inactive Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, which puts rookie Ken Bishop on the field for the first time since Sept. 28.
Bishop was called up from the practice squad on Saturday with McClain questionable because of a high ankle sprain. McClain did not practice during the week but expressed hope that he would be able to play. Bishop played in three games and recorded two tackles and a quarterback pressure before he was waived and added to the practice squad.
Linebacker Anthony Hitchens will be active for the second straight week after not practicing an entire week. He did the same in the wild-card win against the Detroit Lions and was credited with five tackles. He needed to play more once Rolando McClain was lost to a concussion against the Lions.
Rolando McClain is active, as is Jeremy Mincey, who suffered a concussion against the Lions.
Also inactive for the Cowboys are quarterback Dustin Vaughan, linebacker Keith Smith, linebacker James Anderson, tackle Doug Free, tackle Donald Hawkins and defensive end Kenneth Boatright.
