Like last season, any success the Houston Texans have in 2016 will be led by their impressive defense. With game-changing talents like defensive end J.J. Watt, outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney and inside linebacker Brian Cushing, Houston will once again boast one of the NFL's best defensive units.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: 115.2 fantasy points
Over or under: The Texans are projected to have the eighth-best defense in the NFL this season. I’ll go slightly over on this. They scored 138 fantasy points last season, and I think if Watt and Clowney can stay healthy, they have potential to be even better. They do have some tough matchups, especially on the road, including games at the Patriots, Packers and Vikings. It's fair to say the Texans defense will go as three-time NFL defensive player of the year Watt goes. If he can stay healthy after returning from back surgery, which will keep him out of the team's entire preseason schedule, the Texans defense should once again be among the league's best.
