Over or under: I’m taking "over" in both categories. Luck has help in the backfield with running back Frank Gore, who came within 33 yards of rushing for 1,000 yards last season, but the Colts still are very much a pass-first team. Luck is looking for a season of redemption after throwing 12 interceptions in the seven games he played last season. There’s been an emphasis put on fundamentals like footwork to help Luck cut down on his turnovers.
What also can’t go unnoticed and will play heavy in Luck’s success this season is that he has his top skill position players returning from the previous season for the first time in his NFL career. There’s speed at receiver with T.Y. Hilton and Phillip Dorsett, a possession receiver in Donte Moncrief and an all-around tight end in Dwayne Allen for Luck to work with.
