If there's a player who can show age is just a number it's Frank Gore. The Indianapolis Colts running back doesn't measure what he can do on past success. He does it by how well he performs against players younger than him during his offseason workouts. And Gore says he's still holding his own against those players.
Frank Gore
ESPN Fantasy Projection: 929.2 YARDS, 5.5 TDs
Over or under: Age isn’t on Gore’s side, because there hasn’t a running back who has rushed for at least 1,000 yards in a season at 33 or older since John Riggins (1,239 yards) did it in 1984, but I’m still going to take the over with Gore. He rushed for 967 yards behind a poor offensive line and with quarterback Andrew Luck missing nine games last season. Luck is healthy, which means teams won’t stack the box against Gore, and the Colts feel like the addition of Joe Philbin to the coaching staff and using half of their eight draft picks on offensive linemen will give Gore more lanes to run through.
