JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Carolina Panthers signed receiver Mike Brown off the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad to a futures contract, the Panthers announced Thursday afternoon.
Brown spent two seasons with the Jaguars and played in caught 37 passes for 534 yards and two touchdowns in 18 games. He played in the first five games of the 2014 season (one start) and was inactive for the next six games before being cut when the team signed receiver Tommy Streeter from the practice squad.
The Jaguars signed Brown to the practice squad on Dec. 2.
