ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Running back Latavius Murray, who missed Sunday’s win against the San Diego Chargers with a toe injury on his right foot, is out of his protective boot but did not practice on Wednesday.
The Oakland Raiders went with rookies DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard against the Chargers and they rushed for 23 and 31 yards on nine and eight carries, respectively.
Also, rookie right tackle Vadal Alexander, who was in a boot on his right foot on Tuesday, sat out practice. Still, it was the first time this season that veteran right tackle Austin Howard was not listed on the team’s injury report.
Plus, tight end Clive Walford, who missed the Chargers game, returned to practice for the Raiders (4-1).
