The NFL regular season is just around the corner, which means fantasy drafts are in full swing. The Miami Dolphins have several skill players of interest to potential fantasy owners.
Here is a look at Miami's starting quarterback:
ESPN Fantasy Projection: 4,115 yards, 23.6 TDs, 11.9 INTs
Over or under: I will go under on the yards and slightly over on touchdowns. The Dolphins' offense lacked an identity last year and Tannehill had 587 pass attempts, which included six games of 40 attempts or more. That is way too many throws for Tannehill, who is not the type of quarterback who can carry an offense on his back. Look for Miami to be more balanced under first-year head coach Adam Gase. A good year for Tannehill could mean fewer yards but more efficient play. The Dolphins also worked tirelessly on red-zone offense this spring and in training camp. That is an area in which Tannehill must improve. If he makes moderate strides in the red zone, Tannehill could be in the 25-28 touchdown range.
