The NFL regular season is just around the corner, which means fantasy drafts are in full swing. The Miami Dolphins have interest to potential fantasy owners.
Here is a look at Miami's defense and special teams:
ESPN Fantasy Projection: 33 sacks, 12.7 interceptions, 8.5 fumble recoveries, 3.3 touchdowns
Over or under: Can the Dolphins' defense get much worse? From a reality and fantasy perspective, Miami's defense was a huge disappointment in 2015. There was a lot going on in terms of change, firings and disagreements among players and coaches. That all resulted in the Dolphins finishing 25th in total yards allowed. New defensive coordinator Vance Joseph should make a difference. The Dolphins' wide-nine scheme fits their personnel, and they should be much better against the run and pressuring the quarterback. For these reasons, take the over. Miami's defense has holes, but this bar is pretty low.
