The Patriots released tight end Brandon Ford from the injured reserve list on Saturday, according to a league source.
Ford was recently waived/injured due to an undisclosed injury, but passed through waivers unclaimed and reverted to IR.
He is now a free agent and can sign with any team. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent this offseason out of Clemson.
