Sam Bradford will start 2016 under center for the Philadelphia Eagles. The real question will be who finishes as the starting quarterback.
Sam Bradford
ESPN Fantasy Projection: 3,081 yards, 16.7 touchdowns
Bradford is ranked 30th among NFL quarterbacks by ESPN’s panel, and that seems appropriate. There aren’t a lot of weapons in the huddle with Bradford – his top targets figure to be Jordan Matthews, Zach Ertz, Nelson Agholor and Darren Sproles.
That has been scant evidence that Bradford can elevate his teammates’ play, or that they can elevate his.
It’s also noteworthy that Kansas City’s Alex Smith, who runs the same offense as Doug Pederson is installing in Philadelphia, is ranked 27th, just three spots ahead of Bradford.
With all that, I’ll go with the under on both projections for one simple reason: Carson Wentz is likely to end up playing at some point, limiting Bradford’s opportunity to put up better numbers.
