SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The two San Francisco 49ers tight ends activated on Thursday -- Garrett Celek and Asante Cleveland -- are among the team’s 46 active players for the Thanksgiving night game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Celek was added from the physically unable to perform list after beginning the season on it with back issues, while Cleveland was promoted from the practice squad. He will wear No. 45.
Earlier Thursday, the Niners waived linebacker Chase Thomas and placed tight end Derek Carrier, who had a foot injury, on season-ending injured reserve.
