SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Anthony Davis did not practice again Thursday, and it's looking less and less likely that he'll be ready to go Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks as he continues to recover from a concussion.
"He’s in the concussion protocol, and until he gets released to us there’s nothing to update," coach Chip Kelly said. "He’s just in the concussion protocol and we’ll see where that goes and how he responds to what they’re doing with him."
Davis suffered the concussion a week ago in practice and has not participated since. In fact, he has yet to pass enough of the baseline tests to even suit up for practice in a no-contact jersey.
With Sunday's game just a few days away, it's hard to see a scenario in which he'd be able to pass the tests and be available after sitting all week.
Here's the 49ers' complete Thursday injury report:
Did not participate: OT Anthony Davis (concussion).
Limited participation: S Marcus Cromartie (ankle), S Jaquiski Tartt (knee), NT Mike Purcell (ankle).
Full participation: LB Nick Bellore (knee), DT Quinton Dial (knee), DT Glenn Dorsey (knee), DT Arik Armstead (shoulder), CB Keith Reaser (ankle), G Andrew Tiller (ankle).
