Russell Okung is continuing his free-agency tour and visiting the Detroit Lions, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Okung spent Friday with the New York Giants but got out of town without signing. And that's not surprising. Okung is representing himself without an agent and looking to be thorough in his search for a good deal. Unless Okung finds a deal that matches what he feels is fair market value, he's likely to keep exploring.
There are still three quality left tackles on the market: Okung, Donald Penn and Kelvin Beachum. The Seattle Seahawks have been linked to all three. Their preference is likely to bring Okung back, but if it looks like he's going to sign elsewhere, the team could move quickly to sign Penn or Beachum.
Left tackle is the priority, but the Seahawks still have other needs. They're looking for a nose tackle to replace Brandon Mebane. Al Woods was considered an option, but he's going back to the Tennessee Titans.
And general manager John Schneider is still looking for linebacker help after Bruce Irvin signed with the Oakland Raiders. The team had checked out veteran Chris Clemons, but he's getting a look from the Miami Dolphins, according to an NFL Network report.
A league source also confirmed that the team had a visit scheduled with veteran linebacker Craig Robertson.
The first wave of free agency has passed, but the Seahawks still have holes to fill this weekend.
