The Seattle Seahawks have waived wide receiver Phil Bates and tight end Brett Brackett, according to the NFL transaction report Tuesday, but have not announced any additions to the 53-man roster.
Bates was brought up from the practice squad last week and played in the Carolina game Sunday. Brackett was claimed off waivers from Tennessee last week.
The Seahawks probably will add two players before practice on Wednesday. One might be rookie defensive back Eric Pinkins, who is on the non-football-related injury list, but has practiced the last two weeks.
