@PaulKuharskyNFL "Analysts" think Titans looking to draft or sign a LG b/c Poutasi bombed at RT. Does team feel the same? #IDisagree #PKMail

@PaulKuharskyNFL Prior to draft Poutasi was billed a potential mauler at Guard, a position most felt would be his best position in NFL. 2/2

Paul Kuharsky: I haven’t seen a lot of analyst talk about the Titans and a guard. They had Louis Vasquez in for a visit, so clearly considered at least one veteran who would have been slotted at left guard. Nothing is going to happen with Vasquez before the draft, if at all. I suspect the knee issue that made him unable to practice much for the Broncos last year is an issue. As long as they address right tackle in this draft, they could let Jeremiah Poutasi, Byron Bell and Quinton Spain slug it out for the position. One would hope that Poutasi would win that.
@PaulKuharskyNFL What are the chances the Titans surprise everyone and pick a pass rusher? #PKmail

Paul Kuharsky: Joey Bosa is the best pass rusher, and people who understand the intricacies much better than I do see him as a 4-3 end who could work in a 3-4, but wouldn’t be cast ideally. Anything is possible. The Titans aren’t sharing who’s in play and who isn’t. They absolutely need edge pass-rush depth beyond Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan. I don’t know that they can take it so high when Laremy Tunsil and Jalen Ramsey are available.
@PaulKuharskyNFL Outside of OL and DB what is a position you think FO is targeting high in draft that might surprise us #PKmail

@PaulKuharskyNFL if a WR is drafted early..is that good-bye to either Hunter or Harry? #Pkmail

Paul Kuharsky: If the Titans take a wide receiver high, they’d then have Kendall Wright, Rishard Matthews, Dorial Green-Beckham, the pick, Harry Douglas and Justin Hunter. (I’m leaving out Tre McBride, Demaris Johnson, Andrew Turzilli and Nick Harwell as they are roster long shots at this point.) The Titans would not need to do anything to their receiver pool any time before cuts late in camp. They finished last season with six receivers. Carrying the six I listed above wouldn’t be an issue. So a draft pick doesn’t ensure the end of anyone, at least not for 2016.
