That the Baltimore Ravens' pass-rush is formidable isn't any kind of secret and it will be a problem for whoever the Houston Texans' quarterback is. The Ravens are led by outside linebackers Elvis Dumervil and Terrell Suggs, who are the league's leading sack tandem with 28 between them.
That's not to say I lack faith in the Texans' offensive line. It has improved steadily throughout the season. But an inexperienced quarterback can create problems for himself -- especially under the exceptionally difficult circumstances the Texans find themselves in this week. They've brought a quarterback in whom they've had to bring up to speed quickly on an offense he last ran in August. They've also tried to make sure another quarterback is as ready as possible after having spent three weeks in the offense.
This won't be a high-scoring affair. The Texans' defense knows Gary Kubiak's offense well, and even if they didn't, they are coming off one of their best games of the season -- perhaps their best game of the season -- holding the Indianapolis Colts to a season-low 17 points. They trouble will come from the Ravens' defense.
