How will the Tennessee Titans defense/special teams fare as a fantasy unit?
ESPN Fantasy projection: 35.2 sacks, 11.7 interceptions, 9.2 fumble recoveries, 3 TDs
Over or under: Right on. It’s hard to project this group, as Dick LeBeau is now the defensive playcaller. The presumption is this will be a far more aggressive blitzing team and that a stretch of corners playing fearfully far off their man at the snap is over. Upgraded pass-rush depth, keyed by Kevin Dodd, should help. And defensive backs have made far more plays on the ball in camp. Bobby April brings a whole new system to special teams and we don’t know much yet about how that will work, but the team doesn’t have a dynamic returner, with Dexter McCluster heading the list.
